We are climbing a sacred mountain in Kyoto, Japan and visiting a temple there.
In Japan, there is a belief in dragons, and it is said that there are dragons playing or being used as gods at shrines and other places.
This time, we are getting advice from such a dragon and climbing one of the sacred mountains, the Atago mountain range.
There is a sect of Japanese Buddhism called Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, and I visited a temple where a monk, who can be said to be the founder of this sect, practiced Zen meditation.
This place is crowded with many tourists depending on the season.
However, it is located in an inconvenient place for sightseeing.
