In about three months, we will celebrate the 18th anniversary of our first healing salon in Japan.
(That doesn’t mean we’re going to have any events or anything…( ̄▽ ̄))
About three years ago, I was thinking a lot about continuing to run the salon, so I changed my healing work to a relatively slower pace instead of the grueling pace I had been used to, and then Corona caught on and I found myself in a slower mode.
In the meantime, I tried YouTube, podcasting, etc., and after a lot of trial and error in my own way, this blog is currently the most popular.( ̄▽ ̄)
I am basically bored.
So it is sometimes a miracle for me that my healing work continues!( ̄▽ ̄)
But, well, after three years of slowing down, I decided it was time to start moving again in earnest, and at the end of August, I moved some large pieces of furniture, etc. and generally cleared things out, as described in my previous blog.
There are many things that have been left untouched over the years due to lack of time, and I am trying to solve them one by one.
So, first of all, I am going to paint the wooden shelves that I got and was using with a mismatched color.( ̄▽ ̄)
I used to use it in a position where it was difficult for customers to see it, but this time I will paint it white because I will put it in a place where it will be gazily visible.
The first thing I took out was a leisure seat from my parents’ house.♪
Probably about 30 years old.(;・∀・)
I had brought it home with me to see if I could use it for something since it was new, but I had no use for it and left it unused for two years.
This is the kind of place we will use, but it’s finally time to use it!( ̄▽ ̄)
When spread out, it looks very Showa.
We will put shelves here and paint them!
And here are some paint and new brushes that have been sitting in the salon for a long time.
Both of them are about 15 years old, so I am not sure if I can use them or not, but I will use them because they are a waste!(・ω・)ノ
When I put the brush in, I was surprised that the paint separated too much!
I mixed it to the point where I thought my wrist was going to go crazy, and it was surprisingly good!( ̄▽ ̄)
And now we are going to try painting for the first time!
After an hour of painting, I was done.
It is difficult to actually apply the paint~!
It looks beautiful in the picture, but in reality it is quite uneven.
At any rate, I will let it dry for a day, and tomorrow I will go to IKEA to buy a chair for the salon!
